At Microban International, we are all about giving something back to our local communities around the world.

Following the devastation caused by Typhoon Mangkhut in Southern China in mid-September, our Shenzhen team volunteered to assist with clearing fallen debris from the streets of the city. The day was very meaningful for all involved and the efforts of volunteers helped to restore some normality for local residents and businesses.

Mangkhut made landfall in Guangdong on 16th September, claiming the lives of four people before heading west into the neighboring Guangxi province. Ferocious winds of more than 107 miles per hour led authorities to quickly evacuate towns and cities in southern China.

The typhoon left behind a trail of devastation, tearing off the roofs of skyscrapers, shattering windows, and causing severe flooding in low-lying areas.

With offices in both Shenzhen and Hong Kong, Microban® are thankful that none of our APAC team members were injured during this tropical storm. We are extremely proud of their efforts to help rebuild part of the city.
