Microban International, the global leader in antimicrobial and odor control solutions, will be exhibiting at Compounding World Expo this November 3-4, in Cleveland, Ohio. With a mission to redefine clean with built-in antimicrobial technologies, Microban is continuously finding ways to reduce plastic waste by addressing microbial growth and premature product degradation.
Enhancing thousands of plastic products around the world, built-in antimicrobials help to prevent the uncontrolled proliferation of bacteria, mold, and mildew on surfaces. By keeping products cleaner and fresher for longer, end users experience longer functional lifetimes and increased quality, meaning plastic products are less likely to end up wasted. Plastics that are more durable and long lasting equate to less frequent disposal, and a decreased volume of plastics in our oceans and landfills.
Dr. Ivan Ong, Vice President of Research and Development at Microban International will be delivering a featured presentation on enhancing polymer performance and sustainability with built-in antimicrobial technologies. Addressing key consumer concerns and market trends surrounding sustainability, Dr. Ong will educate the audience on ways custom, built-in antimicrobial formulations can be seamlessly engineered into polymer products to increase longevity and durability. Dr. Ong will be taking the Theater 2 stage on November 4 at 10:30am.
The premier international plastics industry show brings together compounding and polymer professionals from around the world and is co-located this year with Plastics Recycling World Expo, Plastics Extrusion World Expo, and Polymer Testing World Expo. From raw materials suppliers and compounders to masterbatch makers and end users, Compounding World attracts attendance from across the complete compounding supply chain.
