Microban® Expands Global Marketing Team

The company extends the footprint of its global marketing team with two new hires.

BIRMINGHAM, UK AND SHENZHEN, CHINA - June 22, 2021 // Microban International, the global leader in antimicrobial and odour control technologies, has announced the addition of Paul Lai as Marketing Assistant, APAC; and Joanne (Jo) Mills as Marketing Assistant, EMEA.

“Both individuals bring a wealth of knowledge and experience in marketing, and I am confident they will contribute tremendously to our international brand presence,” said Kimberley Cherrington, International Marketing Manager at Microban. “As the antimicrobial market continues to witness rapid growth, it’s essential we hire talented individuals who can further enhance Microban’s position as the industry leader. Located in Shenzhen, China, Lai has an in-depth understanding of the marketing landscape across Asia. Before joining Microban, Lai was an Assistant Marketing Manager for Global Sources Advertising (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. Lai holds a Bachelor’s degree in English from Yunnan University of Finance and Economics, and a Master’s degree in Applied Psychology from Harbin Normal University.

Mills brings more than seven years of international marketing experience. Prior to joining Microban, Mills was the Marketing Assistant for building materials giant, James Hardie. Mills also spent 12 months on Hilton Head Island in South Carolina, where she worked for Sonesta Hotels. Residing in Birmingham, UK, Mills holds a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality with Events Management from The Manchester Metropolitan University.
