1. When did you join Microban?

2. How did you come to work here?
My background is in Manufacturing and Machine Maintenance, but I recently found myself working in a Laboratory setting and really enjoyed it. Most recently, I was working in a Lab that tested vacuum cleaners.
3. What do you do at Microban?
As Senior Polymer Technician, my main focus would be working with the Injection Molding Machine and maintaining the Polymers Lab.
4. What's your favorite aspect of the job?
The Microban culture is top-notch. Everyone is included, everyone is treated fairly, and all ideas are welcome.
5. What's your go-to lunch spot in your local city?
Sushi Hana in Charlotte, NC.
6. What’s a podcast, book, or article you’ve enjoyed recently, and why would you recommend it?
Simple Methods for Identification of Plastics by Dietrich Braun. This is a great introduction to the world of plastics.
7. Where in the world is your “happy place”?
Anywhere my wife and two boys are.
8. What’s a real-world lesson you had to learn outside the classroom?
Be KIND. It's so easy.
9. What’s the most memorable reason you’ve recently set your “Out of Office” message?
To go on my first cruise.

Miso soup, Sushi, No-bake cheesecake.
