Souvik Nandi, Ph.D., is Vice President of Technology and Innovation at Microban International. Responsible for developing and implementing the technology roadmap for Microban, Souvik manages the company’s extensive innovation pipeline. He also oversees regulatory and product stewardship affairs and Microban’s extensive testing laboratories.
Souvik joined Microban in December 2022, bringing a unique chemical engineering perspective and a wealth of industry experience. Prior to joining Microban, Souvik was Director of Technology at Johns Manville, responsible for global product and process development. He has spent a total of 17 years in the building materials and construction industry, with rich insights into products used for these markets and the evolving customer needs.
Souvik earned a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology and a Ph.D. in chemical engineering from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
