The Synthetic Turf Council Annual Membership Meeting offers continual exposure to information about new technologies and products provided by experts in the industry as a key part of effective professional development. The Synthetic Turf Council (STC) is a 501(c)6 non-profit trade association serving the synthetic turf industry with a mission to serve as the global forum to promote, develop, grow and advocate for the synthetic turf industry. Founded in 2003, the STC assists buyers and end users with the selection, use and maintenance of synthetic turf systems in sports field, golf, municipal parks, airports, landscape and residential applications. It is a resource for current, credible, and independent research on the safety and environmental impact of synthetic turf, as well as technical guidance on the selection, installation, maintenance, and environmentally responsible disposal of synthetic turf. Membership includes builders, landscape architects, testing labs, maintenance providers, manufacturers, suppliers, installation contractors, infill material suppliers and other specialty service companies.
The meeting will be held during the week of October 19, 2020 with sessions beginning Monday and ending on Friday. Dr. Glenner Richards, Director of Microbiology and Analytical Chemistry at Microban International will speak on Tuesday October 20 during the session titled LANDSCAPE AND RECREATION: DISINFECTANT AND MAINTENANCE BEST PRACTICES. The session will take place from 2:00pm EST to 3:00pm EST and is sponsored by our valued partner USGreentech, makers of the industry leading Envirofill Turf Infill treated with Microban antimicrobial technology.
