How long have you worked at Microban?

3 1/2 years

What 3 traits define you?

  • Persistent
  • Curious
  • Clever

What is one interesting fact about you that people would be surprised to learn?

I went to school intending to study forensic science because I originally wanted to be a crime scene detective or a coroner.

Where is the best place you have traveled to and why?

Vancouver, British Columbia. Clean air, jaw-dropping scenery, lovely people, fantastic sushi. It is truly one of the most beautiful places on Earth.

How do you define success?

Progress - going a step further, being a second faster, an ounce stronger, or a decision braver, than I was yesterday.

If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?

I would love to be able to play the Listz transcriptions of the Beethoven symphonies for solo piano. They are, without a doubt, the most difficult pieces of music I've ever read and I'd love, just once in my life, to play them through competently.

What three words would you use to describe Microban International?

Passionate, determined, driven.

What is your favorite thing about working in the antimicrobial industry?

The regulatory landscape around antimicrobials is constantly evolving, there are always challenges to overcome and puzzles to solve.

If you could have dinner with anyone, living or deceased, who would it be?

My 7-year-old daughter. She will always be my favourite dinner companion.

If you had to eat one meal every day for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Mapo tofu, extra spicy... with Oreo cookies for dessert.
