BISSELL Case Study


The majority of BISSELL® vacuums retail for less than $200. The company leveraged the launch of the BISSELL® Healthy Home™ Vacuum infused with Microban® antimicrobial protection to introduce the product at $249 retail price point gaining market share at the higher end of the mass market segment and improving overall product mix. The national launch received support at all the major retail accounts, and BISSELL® supported the launch with national television and print advertising, the largest campaign in the company’s history. The launch has exceeded the company’s expectations and Microban technology is now also featured in its line of carpet deep cleaners.
