Microban® protection inhibits the growth of stain causing bacteria. When microbes come in contact with the countertop sealer, Microban® protection penetrates the cell wall of the microorganism and disrupts cell functions making the microorganism unable to function, grow and reproduce.

Microban® protection works continuously to inhibit the growth of stain causing bacteria on the sealer. Microban protection makes DuPont Protect Plus countertop sealer easier to clean and keeps it cleaner between cleanings for the lifetime of the sealer.

Microban® antimicrobial protection is effective against most common bacteria that can cause stains. Microban® technology is not designed to replace normal cleaning practices or protect users from foodborne illness.
