No. While non-porous bathtub and shower surfaces, such as acrylic, keep bacteria from penetrating the surface, bacteria can still multiply and grow on the surface. Only Luxury Bath shower and tub liners are manufacturered with built-in Microban® antimicrobial protection to help prevent the growth of stain and odor causing bacteria, mold and mildew on the surface of the bathtub and shower, where you need it most.

Yes. Microban protection works continuously, so as microbes come in contact with the surface of your bathtub or shower they’re unable to grow or reproduce, so your tub and shower stay cleaner for longer.
