Microban Expands Textile Category Leadership with Lisa Owen as Global Business Development Senior Director

HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. (February 5, 2015) – Microban® International, Ltd, the global leader in antimicrobial solutions, announces it has named Lisa Owen senior director of global business development for Textiles. Owen joins a well-established Textiles team at Microban, which focuses on increasing product value through durable and effective antimicrobial product protection that never wears off, from odor-resistant clothing and footwear to mold and mildew-inhibiting window coverings.

An accomplished business executive with expertise in business development, global strategy and ingredient branding, Owen comes to Microban from executive positions at RSC Bio Solutions, NatureWorks, Marley, Klochner, Honeywell and BAE Systems. Owens’ experience ranges from specialty and commodity plastics, fibers and chemicals business through development of successful strategies and implementation of product, technology, marketing, commercial and business plans and building, as well as leading multicultural teams. Owen received her MBA from the University of Richmond in finance and international business and a BSC degree from USC in chemical engineering.
