Microban has expanded its international presence with a new European hire.

Formerly an account manager at an award-winning marketing software company, Maté Dzakula is used to the challenges of working in dynamic and fast paced environments. Maté's background in business studies has allowed him to develop strong commercial negotiation skills and he is adept at fostering long-term relationships with a range of stakeholders. Proficiency in five different languages also means that Maté can effectively communicate with key decision makers around the world, positioning him well for his role as Microban’s EMEA Business Development Manager.

Graham Harvey, International Group Director for the Built-In business unit at Microban, commented: "Maté is an exceptional business development professional who adopts a solutions-driven approach to achieve mutual benefit. He has an intellectual curiosity that drives him to find answers to the most important questions and he acts as both a mentor and a sales manager when engaging with customers. Maté is already an asset to Microban's European team and I cannot wait to see him develop further over the course of 2019."

Born in Croatia, Maté grew up in Sydney, Australia before relocating to Cologne, Germany. When he's not busy promoting the benefits of antimicrobial technology, Maté spends a lot of time mastering one of the hardest jobs on earth - being a Dad to his 2-month-old son!
